A CONTEMPORARY INQUIRY INTO IDENTITY AND PERCEPTION
Emma Collins’ practice is a contemporary conceptual figurative inquiry examining the instability of identity and the nature of truth.

Grounded in sustained lived investigation rather than doctrine, her work uses the human form, layered surfaces, and perceptual distortion to explore how roles, narratives, and conditioned perceptions shape selfhood. Through expressive mark-making and symbolic tension, each painting stages a moment of destabilisation — inviting viewers to question what appears fixed and to look beneath the structures that define them.
An Invitation...
Emma Collins’ paintings are created for those navigating moments of inner change, where familiar identities begin to loosen and something quieter, less defined takes their place. Rather than offering answers, the work holds space for ambiguity, allowing viewers to encounter their own reflections within the figure, the gesture, and the fracture.
EXHIBITIONS, EVENTS, AND ONGOING PRACTICE
Emma Collins’ work is presented through exhibitions, immersive art events, and collaborative projects that invite deeper engagement with art as lived experience.

Alongside studio practice, she creates spaces for reflection and dialogue through artist talks, workshops, and participatory events. This work is grounded in consistency, inquiry, and a long-term commitment to artistic and personal evolution.

Collecting, Commissions, and Enquiries
Original artworks are available to collect, with select works offered as smaller pieces and prints.

Emma Collins also accepts a limited number of commissions and collaborative projects each year. Enquiries are welcome from collectors, curators, and organisations interested in exhibitions, events, or bespoke works.

An Ongoing Inquiry Through Art
This body of work is an ongoing exploration of identity, presence, and inner truth, expressed through conceptual, figurative painting and lived inquiry.

Each series, exhibition, and event forms part of a larger conversation between art, consciousness, and the human experience.
