Something worth keeping.
A commission is an opportunity to create an original artwork around someone — or something — that matters to you.
From people and pets to figurative and more unusual ideas, I accept a limited number of commissions throughout the year, created in my distinctive approach to portraiture: strong contrast, expressive mark-making and subtle, unexpected colour.
Some commissions begin with a face. Some with a photograph. Some with a story or an idea.
If you're not quite sure whether what you have in mind fits, ask. The interesting ones rarely fit neatly into a box.
WHAT CAN I COMMISSION?
People, pets, animals, memorial portraits, figurative works and unusual ideas are all welcome.
My strongest work tends to happen when I'm given some creative freedom, so rather than simply reproducing a photograph, I'll work with you to create something that feels unmistakably personal while still looking unmistakably like my work.

PAYMENT
A 30% deposit is required to secure your commission and begin the process, with the remaining balance due before the completed artwork is delivered or collected.
Payment plans are available if you'd prefer to spread the cost over time. We can arrange a schedule that works for you before the commission begins.
All pricing will be confirmed upfront, so you'll know the full cost of your artwork before committing.
