Unmasked

Unmasked is a sacred expressionist painting series exploring identity, social roles, and the layers of self we inhabit. Through figurative and symbolic imagery, the work examines what remains when familiar masks fall away.

Developed alongside written inquiry and live performance, this series invites viewers to reflect on their own processes of becoming and unbecoming. Selected works from this series are available to collect.

The imagery balances shadow and light, from reflective gazes and fractured masks to cosmic revelations and inner illumination. By the end, the viewer witnesses not only the struggle of wearing masks, but also the liberation that comes when they are removed—revealing the essence of consciousness itself.

This series invites audiences to reflect on their own lives as a story of masking and unmasking, a shared journey toward authenticity.
